The Working Groups

The Austrian Convention has formed ten working groups to check the different issues and to formulate proposals about a constitutional reform. Upon agreement of the Praesidium, the working groups may consult experts for their debates or to commission them.

The members of the working groups may invite one person each to accompany them to the discussions in the working group, when the working group agrees on this. Furthermore, the members of the Praesidium may take part in the meetings or send observers to each working group. The working groups also have to give a written report about the results of their work within a given period (about four months).
